Projects
All projects bellow are accomplished not-for-profit with the objective to fundraising money for the creation, maintenance and administration of the Big Brazil Cultural Center®, witch is a House of the Brazilian Culture of NYC®. Where there will be administrated classes of cinema, theater, television, music, dance, Portuguese and English for adults, children and seniors. Production and presentation of shows, events, commercials, films and arts. Accomplishment of classes, contests, workshops, exhibitions, panels and festivals.

Moda segundo o filósofo “Manuel Fontan de Junco” é definida como uma ponte entre a beleza e a vida, moda é um tipo de arte que se usa, que se leva para as ruas, uma arte de consumo a qual todos tem acesso. Criamos, dentro da mesma filosofia, o Big Brazil Film Fashion que tem como objetivo mostrar a relação da moda e do cinema, com isto descobriremos novos talentos dentro do mundo Fashion Cinematográfico Brasileiro de uma maneira única e criativa. Convidamos estudantes e profissionais na àrea de moda, arquitetura, design e artes plásticas para participarem deste projeto usando como elemento de inspiração, um filme brasileiro.

O NYBFF is a film festival that’s brings annually Brazilian films in the week of Independence Day, to the New York City. The Films are exhibited at the traditional Anthology Film Archives, located on the Second Avenue and Second Street in Manhattan. All the films exhibited had English subtitles. Always, after the screenings we will have an after party, with free drinks, to celebrate the success of the screenings with producers, actors, press, and general public.

The Club of Brazilian Cinema®; it is the monthly exhibition of one Brazilian film in 7 cities in the United States. We will have special guests; directors, actors and actresses, at the screenings and then we will be entertained in a cocktail party with live music. The tickets are free. The oldest Little Brazil magazine & city guide® now is a complementary of the Big Brazil magazine & city guide. The magazine is about a lot of subjects and is for all ages. We will talk about health, immigration, cinema, music, arts, theater, dance, fashion, Brazilian cooking, beliefs and complete coverage of events in NY.

It is a tourist and cultural TV program that does an analogy of Brazil and the United States. This program covers events that happen in NY, NJ, CT & MA. It’s a 30 minutes program that airs weekly on QPTV and MNN, transmitted by Time Warner and RCA.

BIG BRAZIL SUMMER FESTIVAL/ BRAZILIAN SUMMER FESTIVAL OF NY®/ NY BRAZILIAN SUMMER FESTIVAL®
It is an event that marks the Big Brazil Summer Festival/Brazilian Summer of NYC®. The event unites all artists and brazilian musicians in New York, some names like Roberto Trevisan, Simone Rossi, Murilo Di Vangô, Marcio Mendes & Mix Brasil Band, Mizó & Mizael, Marina Elali, Pimenta Malagueta Band, the marvelous artists Rosalino Antunes & Lorna Washington and many others. All participants donated their salary. The money from the box office and the artist donations goes to Big Brazil Foundation bank account.
